This is a remote, temporary role, ranging from hire date April 27th, 2026 through approximately September 30th, 2026.
Our operation is open 7 days per week, and candidates must be available to work evenings and at least one weekend day. Hours & schedule for the role may vary based on business need between 9am-11pm Eastern Time.
You will:
• Communicate value, features, and benefits of the Connections Academy schools, while ensuring parents understand the expectations of a virtual school experience
• Help encourage qualified families to apply for enrollment for their child, and serve as the primary point of contact for families interested in beginning the process of enrolling
• Answer inbound questions via phone, email, chat, and SMS
• Drive outbound phone calls, emails, chats, and SMS to drive pipeline application goals
• Share program benefits and next steps in a consultative, non-salesy way while also helping to drive applications
• Build rapport, understand family needs, and provide timely, helpful follow-up
• Track outreach and outcomes accurately in internal systems
• Convert interest into applications
You are:
• Flexible, adaptive, and able to positively support families, students, and caretakers
• Able to take direction quickly and learn new procedures, processes, and products
• Able to use a variety of customer service and sales tools, software, and systems to effectively manage customer interactions
• Skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Reliable, professional, and empathetic
• Comfortable working remotely and independently in a structured environment
• Believe in a culture of continuous improvement supporting enrollment goals
• Able to adhere to company attendance policy and work flexible hours between 9am-11pm Eastern Time, including at least one weekend day and potentially late shifts when needed
You have :
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ year of consultative, sales, customer service, advising, or support experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening skills and emotional intelligence
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and patiently
• Experience navigating websites, browsers, and systems, often using multiple tabs, screens, and systems concurrently with strong typing skills
• Comfort using Windows computer/operating system
• Calm, empathetic approach when supporting families under stress
• Familiarity with education and the public-school system a strong plus
• Remote experience preferred
Compensation:
The pay for this temporary role is $20 per hour, with potential for over-time and opportunities for full-time work. Compensation may be adjusted based on experience and geographic location.
