Project Overview: Supporting Arkansas Eligibility To support the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) with clearing the backlog and completing new eligibility tasks on an ongoing basis. Eligibility staff will complete eligibility tasks in ARIES, Arkansas DHS eligibility system. Cases requiring escalation will be sent to DHS for review. ES will process tasks in a first in first out fashion for all eligibility worker queues. Staff will process all open eligibility tasks on a case, not just the task chosen in a queue. Job Responsibilities: • Review healthcare benefit enrollment applications and forms for the state of Arkansas. • Review documents using the DOH eDatabases for verification of information • Evaluate applications and determine next steps for eligibility • Currently expected to complete 10 cases per day with 90% QC

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification required. One-to-three years’ relevant experience; Experience with social services programs is preferred; Accurate data entry skills and the ability to type at least 40 keystrokes/minute; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to build positive relationships among clients, program, and State; Attention to detail; excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently; proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel.
