Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and mechanically inclined Water Technician to join our warehouse team. This position involves performing diverse duties to install and maintain water treatment equipment, primarily during afternoon shifts. If you have a knack for using hand tools, enjoy troubleshooting, and are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain water treatment equipment.
- Use a forklift to lift and move Water Treatment Units onto racks and back down.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Adhere to company protocols as directed by management.
- Employ a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Notify management of any concerns that may arise.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
- Previous forklift experience is ideal.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Comfortable getting wet and working in damp conditions.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and general labor.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform equipment restoration.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in various forms including manuals, PI&D, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills are advantageous.

Work Environment
This role operates within a warehouse environment equipped with multiple swamp coolers to maintain a comfortable temperature during the summer. The position requires significant time on your feet and involves moving equipment using a forklift. Expect to work in wet conditions, for which rubber boots will be provided. Hand tools will be issued as needed for specific tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
