Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will focus on designing electrical systems for industrial chemical facilities. You will engage in power distribution, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layout, and detailed installation design. You will also review and create drawings, evaluate specification sheets, size equipment for small plant projects, and ensure code compliance for operational facilities.
Responsibilities

- Conduct power distribution, schematics, and wiring diagram tasks.
- Layout equipment and detailed installation designs.
- Review and create drawings and specification sheets.
- Size equipment for small plant projects.
- Ensure compliance with code requirements for operational facilities.
- Hands on experience working on systems HIGHER than 220v.
- Lead and direct work to contractors for various projects.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of industrial electrical engineering experience.
- Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Knowledge of electrical design fundamentals.
- Experience with power delivery systems for chemical and industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with grounding, lighting, wiring, schematics, panel layouts, heat trace, cable schedules, cable trays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of NFPA 496, 497, 655, 70, 70E, IECC.
- Knowledge of ETAP and motor types and horsepower (nice to have).
- Ability to maintain project scope and meet required codes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in leading and directing work for contractors.
- Capability to provide technical support and ensure project success.
Work Environment
This role offers a dynamic work environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will split your time between office responsibilities and fieldwork, with approximately 60% on-site at plants and work sites. Field activities include troubleshooting, commissioning, and supporting project service teams. The remaining 40% will focus on office-based engineering tasks and collaboration. Expect around 25% travel to various sites across the country.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $102000.00/yr.
