Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will lead complex mechanical design projects, develop system solutions, and ensure that engineering standards and quality benchmarks are met. Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical design projects and develop system solutions.
- Ensure engineering standards and quality benchmarks are met.
- Drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems from conceptualization through manufacturing.
- Manage projects from initial concept through delivery, ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, testing, and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, automation system development, and project management within a high-tech environment.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, and familiarity with drafting standards such as GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with FEA tools and simulation software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including manual and CNC machining, prototyping, and assembly techniques.
- Analytical skills for root cause analysis and strong project scheduling capabilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems involving PLCs and Robotics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles combined with practical application skills across diverse projects.
- Experience with industry codes and standards to ensure compliance in design and manufacturing practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
