Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

The Lab Technician will support lens production in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include producing silicone-based formulations using various material preparation techniques and mixing protocols, making base bath, cleaning laboratory glassware, and packing material mixing kits. The Lab Technician will also assist with thorough data acquisition, recording, and management.

Hard Skills

• Cleanroom experience - 6 months preferred
• Chemistry knowledge - 0-6 months

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Aliso Viejo, California.

Work Environment

70% of the time, you will work in the cleanroom, which is an AC environment that can be dry with some stronger scents but nothing concerning. No jewelry, makeup, nails, or fake eyelashes are allowed. 30% of the time will be spent in a cubicle doing paperwork. Flexible start times, but during training, you will need to work from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Must work at least one weekend day, with shifts potentially being Sunday-Thursday, Saturday-Wednesday, or Friday-Tuesday. If you can work both weekend days, it is highly preferred. Flexible start times range from 6 am to 9 am, as long as all 8 hours are worked.
