Description
Drone Videographer & Operations Support
Location: Bay Point, California
About the Role
Join a tight-knit, agile team at the forefront of autonomous aerial delivery. As a Drone Videographer & Operations
Support, you'll be the visual storyteller behind our drone operations-capturing flight footage, creating high-resolution and
high-FPS video content, and documenting the evolution of drone logistics in action.
This role goes far beyond traditional videography. You'll actively participate in daily drone operations-including pre-flight
checks, post-flight logging, and airspace coordination-while also assisting crews with field logistics like battery swaps,
drone transport, and on-the-ground setup.
You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams on flight testing initiatives, helping capture data-rich visuals for analysis
and providing hands-on support during experimental or technical missions. This includes documenting prototype testing,
troubleshooting in real-time, and ensuring footage meets technical review standards.
You'll rotate between two active operational sites, supporting a core team of 4-5 experienced pilots in a fast-moving and
highly collaborative environment.
We're Excited About You Because...
- You're FAA Certified: You hold a valid Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and have a strong command of FAA
regulations, airspace classifications, and safe operational procedures.
- You Know the Ops: You're experienced in pre-flight/post-flight checklists, NOTAM awareness, airspace planning, and
radio communications in a team-based environment.
- You Collaborate with Engineers: You're excited to work alongside engineering and R&D teams to support flight testing,
provide feedback from field footage, and contribute to iterative testing cycles.
- You're a Visual Storyteller: You bring deep experience in photography and videography-especially high-resolution and
high frame rate shooting (e.g., 4K/120fps)-and can translate technical operations into compelling visuals.
- You're a Field Asset: You don't hesitate to get hands-on-whether it's managing batteries, repositioning drones,
assisting launches, or piloting when needed.
- You're Adaptable: You thrive in a startup-style environment where creative problem-solving and flexibility are daily
expectations.
- You're Mobile: You're willing to travel between nearby sites and adjust your schedule around test flights and production
needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- You own and can operate high-end video/photography equipment-preferably a Sony FX3, A7III, or equivalent-with a
professional-grade zoom lens.
- You're skilled in post-production workflows (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- You've previously documented aviation, robotics, or other tech field operations-especially in fast-moving or
experimental environments.
- You're open to flexible schedules, including occasional weekends or irregular hours aligned with test flight windows.
Why Join Us?
You'll help define how the world sees the next wave of drone logistics-by capturing cutting-edge technology in action.
Whether supporting flight tests, filming technical demos, or solving operational challenges in the field, you'll be central to
both our engineering validation and public storytelling.
Expect close collaboration with pilots and engineers, meaningful autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute visually
and operationally to a transformative mission.
