Temporary Laborer

Bishop Waste, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Temporary Laborer to work out of our yard located in Bishop, CA!

The schedule is subject to change based in business needs, but will most likely be Monday - Friday working 8 to 10 hour shifts.

Starting pay is $25 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $25 - $26/hour.

In this position you will be working very independently. You will be cleaning and repairing the portable toilets. Must have the ability to stand and do physically demanding work throughout an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and repairing the portable toilets
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Cleaning, sweeping and pressure washing equipment
• Heavy lifting of equipment and material
• Other laborer duties assigned
• Learn to operate forklift and bobcat

Requirements:

• Positive attitude
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
