The Product Finance and FP&A team oversees our investments in new product development, headcount, operating expenses, and capital investment. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry. Successful candidates for this team have a bias towards action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.You will join the team that manages the finances for Reality Labs (RL). Responsibilities will include leading forecasting and planning, developing strategic and operational insights, and modeling financial scenarios to guide product and business decisions. Candidates should be exceptional analytical and strategic thinkers, and effective collaborators who can bring different perspectives together. Finance Manager - Product Finance Responsibilities:
- Understand, impact, and influence business investment decisions through detailed financial analysis
- Provide hands-on analytical support and develop actionable insights throughout the product development process
- Drive data driven decision making & analysis of product decisions and strategic roadmap investments
- Deep dive into critical capital Investments, HC requirements, and long-term strategic implications of agreements
- Provide insights to business partners through scenario based modeling and long-range forecasting
- Own ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required, and drive process improvements by partnering with cross functional owners
- Create strong business partnerships with various functions across the RL business
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field
- 3+ years of FP&A experience
- Experience with building financial models in Excel
- Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion
- Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with senior leadership
- Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity
- MBA
- Experience in an investment bank or a high-growth tech company
