Description:

Come help us build the next generation cloud platform to support internal and public-facing services. In our team, we build and run systems that form the foundation for some of our most exciting services. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to own and deliver key components in a new platform that will power our growing suite of infrastructure and customer-facing services across 150 countries.

Must haves:

o basic python or java proficiency

o senior golang proficiency

o experience in a web/service context (backend)

o worked as a team

 with a github equivalent (PRs, etc.)

 communicating/drafting ideas and designs

o Experience working with backend web APIs (using and making)

o basic docker & k8s understanding

Nice to haves:

o can write good guidance & communication

o experience with bazel

o Exp. monitoring production applications (logging, metric collection, etc)

o experience with performance optimizations (both through service metrics (mosaic etc.) as well as just local code (pprof, flamegraphs, etc.))

o Familiar with CI/CD tools, Spinnaker, Jenkins, or similar

o familiar with Splunk

o familiar with kafka

o familiar with AWS or GCP
