Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role involves shipping and receiving, replenishing, and putaways, with a focus on physical work such as palletizing and wrapping pallets. The position requires essential work postures, movements, lifting, and carrying, and candidates should have a minimum of 6 months forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.
- Replenish stock and manage putaways.
- Utilize RF scanner for documentation.
- Engage in physical work such as palletizing and wrapping pallets.
- Pull ingredients and load/unload products from trucks.
- Walk long distances on wet, uneven, and slippery surfaces.
- Climb ladders, steps, stairwells, walkways, and platforms safely.
- Carry, lift, lower, push, and pull heavy and awkward objects.
- Lift and lower objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Push or pull heavy roller carts, bins, or transport containers.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 6 months forklift experience.
- Proficiency in forklift operation, including order picker, stand up, reach, crown, and sitdown forklifts.
- Experience with RF scanners and material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Great attendance and willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays.
- Flexibility to perform other job duties such as batching, warehouse work, stocking, and palletizing.

Work Environment
Work in diverse temperatures ranging from cold environments (20-45°F) to hot conditions exceeding 100°F. The facility produces various blends and spices, leading to strong smells that may cling to clothing and hair. Candidates will be around the odor of ingredients being mixed and loud machinery noise. Adherence to GMP rules is required, and safety attire includes hair nets, beard nets, reinforced toe slip-resistant shoes, durable work pants, and shirts covering shoulders. Long hair must be tied or banded, and no jewelry is allowed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of EASTVALE, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
