Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Production Operators on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift who will be trained to operate a variety of extrusion equipment. The role involves setting up machines based on production orders, maintaining production quality, obtaining samples for quality control, labeling, and packing finished products.
Responsibilities
- Check operating controls and safety of equipment before operation.
- Obtain materials for processing from inventory bins and report any damaged, defective, or missing materials.
- Set up machines based on production orders.
- Monitor material quality for defects and adjust machine parameters as needed.
- Label and pack finished products according to work order instructions.
- Review work orders and drawings to resolve any conflicts.
- Wear a respirator when performing machine setup.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
- Comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Notify supervisors or managers of any potential safety hazards.
Essential Skills
- 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator.
- Experience with large machines and materials.
- Familiarity with extrusion and compounder processes.
- Ability to operate, package, and handle materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Good attendance record.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in heavy general labor, machine operating, carpentry, or construction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Fast learner with patience and self-motivation.
- Some power tool and mechanical skills.
- Interest in machine operation.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Good job tenure is essential.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.50/hr.
