Description:

The primary purpose of the Civil Estimator is to analyze RFP information and generate a cost estimate for civil construction projects. Identify risk factors, safety concerns, schedule optimization and value added means and methods and provide support throughout the life of the projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: a. Analyze RFP information and generate questions. b. Solicit material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes. c. Prepare bid take off with labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors. d. Create project schedule and milestones. e. Create bid clarifications and exclusions list. f. Provide input on safety and risk. g. Support operations and provide technical support as needed. h. Support Junior Estimator training and development
