The Role

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring excellence in production quality. You will lead investigations into nonconformances, line failures, and yield losses, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, enhance product reliability, and maintain world-class standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead investigations into production quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop robust process controls that improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Design and validate in-process inspection methods, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Establish and maintain SPC, MSA, and GR&R studies.
• Drive structured problem-solving using tools like 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, and DMAIC.
• Support process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and risk management activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in manufacturing engineering and quality systems (ISO 9001).
• Expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, and regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and data-driven decision-making.

This is a Permanent position based out of Irvine, CA.

The pay range for this position is $71000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
