Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

Exhibit proficiency in all of the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, pediatric blood collections, difficult draws (patients in medical office buildings). Has comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees. Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training for patient service technicians. Will be working with pediatric patients under supervision of the lab supervisor and team lead.

Schedule: Must be available 7 days a week to be scheduled between 6am-10pm. You will be scheduled 30-40 hours per week. Cannot guarantee a specific amount of hours due to internal Kaiser employees getting scheduled first.

• Must have 2 years of high volume phlebotomy experience (40+ draws per day with patients of all ages including neonatal)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s) minimum, must meet 1040 worked hours to be eligible to be hired as a permanent Kaiser employee.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Irvine, California.

Work Environment

High volume working in Medical Office Buildings (clinics) then once they go perm will work in main lab in Hospital.
