Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for administrative excellence? We want you to join our team as a Float Division Administrator! In this role, you will support the oversight of administrative functions within the unit, including fiscal management, staff and academic personnel administration, material management, and contract and grant administration. You will be responsible for continuously monitoring resource allocation, evaluating the effectiveness of administrative methods, and developing innovative solutions to address challenges. The Float Division Administrator will need to balance competing demands to ensure that deadlines and obligations are consistently met.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. UCLA Health annual salary range for this position is $76,200.00 - $158,800.00. Please note that the department's target pay range is $76,200.00 - $101,205.36.

Job Qualifications
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols and procedures for budget, accounting and fund management, and / or personnel management.
  • Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills.
  • Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as event planning, basic fundraising processes risk management planning, website design, accounting and payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.
  • Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong skills in short-term planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, and / or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
