The Social Media Creative is an exciting new role reporting to the Associate Creative Director/Art Director within the Marketing team at UCLA Health. You will need the creative chops and will be crucial in crafting visually appealing, original content across various digital platforms and engaging our audience through creative design, capturing and editing high-quality video and photography for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
As our Social Media Creative, you will collaborate with the Brand Engagement & Social Media Manager, creative team members, partnership, and content writers to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns that align with brand objectives and target audience demographics. Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in graphic design and social media marketing, you will manage and maintain the visual identity and brand consistency across UCLA Health's digital channels while monitoring social media channels for engagement, feedback, and trends, adjusting accordingly.
We are looking for an experienced professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with an in-depth understanding of the professional field . You will independently perform the full range of responsibilities within the function, possess broad job knowledge, analyze problems/issues of diverse scope, and determine solutions. Ultimately, the work should evoke an emotional connection to the UCLA Health brand that leads to patient acquisition, staff and student recruitment, development, and ultimately contributes to UCLA Health's growth.
Salary Range: $76,200 to $158,800 Annually

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in graphic design, social media creation and content creation for an organization or agency
- Familiarity with social media trends, editing, and video styles, especially for YouTube, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
- Proven experience in graphic design and social media content creation
- Ability to create eye-catching organic and paid content for social media platforms that leads to engagement, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Must be proficient with editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30 miles, with availability some weekends or after hours.
- Experienced with native publishing across multiple social media channels, as well as with publishing tools such as Sprout Social.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, remain positive and calm under pressure and is solution oriented.
