As the Assistant to the Chair, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Your role will encompass a wide range of administrative duties, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Schedule meetings, conferences, travel arrangements and maintain calendars (high-volume).
  • Prepare executive correspondences and assist with recording data and creating reports.
  • Logistic support and large event planning, both virtual and in-person.
  • Process travel and expense reimbursements.
The full annual salary range for this position is $63,800.00 - $127,000.00/year. Please note - the department's target pay range is $63,800.00 - $95,000.00.

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (e.g. 3 years of relevant experience).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Superb organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent calendar management and scheduling skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous relevant experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of Travel Express, BruinBuy, and general UC accounting procedures is a plus.
