Collaborate with world-class clinicians and utilize cutting-edge laboratory technology at the Component Processing Laboratory (CPL), where we process and distribute blood components such as whole blood, packed red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, apheresis platelets, and pre-pooled cryoprecipitated AHF.

In this role, you'll perform Donor Quality Assurance (DQA) functions to review and release blood products. Additionally, you may assist with instrument and equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for both CPL and the Blood and Platelet Center (BPC). Your contributions will ensure the highest quality in blood collections, blood processing and patient care.

Salary Range: $70.94/hour - $70.94/hour

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Previous experience working in a Blood Donation Center setting or DQA experience is highly desirable.
• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
