In this role, you will work under the general supervisor of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include:

• Applying ionizing radiation according to MD's prescription (3D,IMRT,SBRT,SRS,HDR)
• Patient scheduling and appointments
• Performing dose calculations
• Treatment data entry
• Working with physicians, physicists and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CT's

This position will be working in Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica and Westwood locations, as well as other future sites as assigned . May be hired as Radiation Therapist if you possess less than 5 years of experience.

Salary Range $66.04 - $87.12 hourly

Job Qualifications
Qualifications

• ARRT License - required
• CRT License - required
• 5 or more years radiation therapy experience - preferred
• BLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
• Aria and Epic experience - preferred
• Skill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may exist
• Truebeam, Tomotherapy, Novalis, CT and MR guided RT experience
• Ability to lift cerrobend blocks weighing up to 35 pounds - required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and California State License in Radiation Therapy - required
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
