In this role, you will work under the general supervisor of the Chief Radiation Therapy Technologist and your functions will include:
- Applying ionizing radiation according to MD's prescription (3D,IMRT,SBRT,SRS,HDR)
- Patient scheduling and appointments
- Performing dose calculations
- Treatment data entry
- Working with physicians, physicists and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CT's
Salary Range $66.04 - $87.12 hourly
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- ARRT License - required
- CRT License - required
- 5 or more years radiation therapy experience - preferred
- BLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
- Aria and Epic experience - preferred
- Skill in working with different types of treatment machines such as MR Scanner, CT Scanner, HDR units and Linear Accelerators and ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may exist
- Truebeam, Tomotherapy, Novalis, CT and MR guided RT experience
- Ability to lift cerrobend blocks weighing up to 35 pounds - required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and California State License in Radiation Therapy - required
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
