The Semel Institute is seeking to find a limited full time Staff Research Associate to assist with a short term 5-month project. In this role you will help with general lab tasks and assist in experimental analyses with the support and supervision of Senior Lab Personnel.

Required:
The Semel Institute is seeking to find a limited full time Staff Research Associate to assist with a short term 5-month project. In this role you will help with general lab tasks and assist in experimental analyses with the support and supervision of Senior Lab Personnel.
Some of the work you will be responsible for will include:
- Process neuroimaging data.
- Access the Hoffman2 compute cluster
- Assist graduate student, postdoctoral researcher, and project scientist as needed on aspects of their work.
- Develop and implement statistical analyses for the neuroimaging and genetics data sets, write methods and protocols related to this project.
- Management of daily laboratory operations as necessary.
- Assist with general lab maintenance
Pay Range: $25.75 - $30.71
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
- Knowledge of Hoffman2 computing cluster and laptop computer hardware.
- Experience consulting with other lab trainees and collaborators
- Experience with use and implementation of statistical approaches and software.
- Experience with use of Python and R
- Bachelors in Science
