As a Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist, you will serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert within the lab. Primary duties include:
• Investigating and developing new or modified test procedures while reviewing and refining existing protocols.
• Overseeing quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.
• Identifying staff training needs and assessing the competency of testing personnel.
• Writing and maintaining SOPs and developing training materials.

Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
• Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of licensed CLS experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Urinalysis.
• Proficiency in evaluating Gram stains.
• Experience with procedure and report writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrated experience in validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
