Job Description
Exhibit proficiency in all of the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, difficult draws (patients in mental retardation facilities, long-term care facilities, drug rehabilitation facilities, prisons, psychiatric facilities, or similar facilities). Administrative tasks include maintaining logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, researching information, time management, training employees, using computerized databases, and effective written and verbal communications.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Palm Springs, California.
Work Environment
Working Conditions: Possible exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens; regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases; must comply with applicable safety procedures. Float to 2 Palm Springs locations: 1 Desert Hot Springs and Yucca Valley (they are 30 miles apart). 57725 Ste 110, Yucca Valley, CA. 555 East, Palm Springs, California. Open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM depending on what location you need to report to. The Hiring Manager will send out the schedule weekly. Training might be off site at a different location as the Indio clinic doesn't have a training facility. Dress Code: Scrubs and closed-toe shoes.
