CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to manage and operate various CNC machine tools, including horizontal and vertical mills. The operator will ensure smooth operation and efficiency of the machines, while maintaining quality standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine tools including lathes and mills, both horizontal and vertical.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and parts are being checked for accuracy.
• Adjust offsets and locations as needed, and change inserts and cutting tools when necessary.
• Gain and apply full knowledge of speeds, feeds, and surface call outs for machined parts.
• Adhere to company safety procedures and operate all machinery safely.
• Perform cleanup around machines and maintain proper fluid levels.
• Operate multiple machine tools simultaneously.

• Experience in operating CNC machines, including lathes and mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in using common machine shop measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Understanding of machine shop practices.
• Capability to communicate machining errors and corrective actions clearly and promptly.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

• 1 year of machining experience or trade school training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
