Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project Manager to support the vehicle contract services product line with Customer Service. As a project manager, you will expand and improve the current service vision for these products and develop an ongoing strategy of service improvement, product sales growth, contract execution, and contract management. The project manager will analyze market and competitive conditions to strike a clear path toward the business value of partnering with Siemens and move the offering to the next level of growth and success.

The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, California is $72,030-$118,300. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project Manager to support the vehicle contract services product line with Customer Service. The project manager will analyze market and competitive conditions to strike a clear path toward the business value of partnering with Siemens and move the offering to the next level of growth and success.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage the products, solutions, and/or services assigned with full responsibility for the results, including definition of customer and market requirements, growth & profit strategies, business planning, road mapping, resource planning, and execution,
- Establish, develop, and manage or synchronize a relevant cross functional team vital to support the business goals of the product and services,
- Co-create and collaborate on project standard processes with other project managers and management,
- Build, develop, and refine relevant performance metrics based on contracted service obligations,
- Create long and short-term order and sales forecasts and analysis for management,
- Develop execution plans for contract products and services, negotiate solutions with customers, and work on bid development teams.
- Develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external customers.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant project management experience. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a combination of education and Siemens relevant work experience will be considered,
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills,
- Well demonstrated verbal and written communication and presentation skills,
- Ability to travel up to 25%,
- Setting you apart from others would be a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of project management experience with PMP certification, experience with SAP and rail industry experience.
