Senior Ios Engineer

Seeking Expert IOS Developer with streaming experience

1. Must have experience developing consumer-facing (B2C) mobile iOS applications in Swift & SwiftUI, preferably video or streaming applications.

2. Proficiency in development tasks, including fixing release bugs, creating tickets for found bugs or chores, reviewing production experiment metrics, and ensuring features are well-tested before production release.

3. Experience putting together RFC/architecture diagrams/design documents.

Small team of 9 people, sitting in China and US. Would be responsible for creating own features and testing own code. Would be working on both front end and backend services. Touching every part of the app. This is an Agile environment and each person will be responsible for over communicating via Slack, Zoom meetings, emails, etc.

• Suggest technology or feature improvements
• Ability to put together RFC or architecture diagrams
• Create useful presentations for other engineers (and present)
• Take on larger features or initiatives



Expectations:

• Use good judgment, if unsure reach out to ask
• Clean code that has unit tests
• Code is well commented as needed UI is pixel matching the design, if not possible, work with designer to get the Figma updated.
• Feature has requested functionality, if not possible, work with the PM to get the Shortcut ticket updates.
• Feature has requested analytics, if not possible, work with the Product Analyst to get Analytics document updated.
• Feature is well tested before production release, QA is here to support us, we also need to support them.
