Journeyman Painter

We are seeking experienced journeyman painters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial painting experience and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Our projects are primarily located in the immediate Bay Area, with our company based in San Jose.

Responsibilities

• Paint, stain, and varnish surfaces using brushes and spray guns.
• Sand, scrape, and brush surfaces in preparation for painting.
• Repair surfaces to be painted, including plastering and sheetrock finishing.
• Mix and match paint colors as needed.
• Waterproof surfaces to ensure durability.
• Refinish furniture such as chairs, bookcases, and desks.
• Set glass and apply putty as necessary.
• Paint signs and occasionally hang wallpaper.

• 5+ years of commercial painting experience.
• Proficiency in using brushes and spray guns.
• Skills in paint mixing, sanding, and surface preparation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Experience in industrial painting and spray gun usage.
• Ability to pass drug and background checks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
