Job Description
We are seeking experienced journeyman painters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial painting experience and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Our projects are primarily located in the immediate Bay Area, with our company based in San Jose.
Responsibilities
- Paint, stain, and varnish surfaces using brushes and spray guns.
- Sand, scrape, and brush surfaces in preparation for painting.
- Repair surfaces to be painted, including plastering and sheetrock finishing.
- Mix and match paint colors as needed.
- Waterproof surfaces to ensure durability.
- Refinish furniture such as chairs, bookcases, and desks.
- Set glass and apply putty as necessary.
- Paint signs and occasionally hang wallpaper.
- 5+ years of commercial painting experience.
- Proficiency in using brushes and spray guns.
- Skills in paint mixing, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in industrial painting and spray gun usage.
- Ability to pass drug and background checks.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
