Job Description
We are looking for a Purchasing Agent to join a large home developer in San Ramon. The ideal candidate has prior purchasing experience or has worked as an administrative assistant for other construction companies. Looking for somebody that is process driven and able to be an adaptable self starter. This person will conduct the day to day community level purchasing tasks including bidding and awarding of contracts with various trade partners. Will interact with appropriate internal and external personnel to clearly and thoroughly communicate proper standards and expectations, and respond to and resolve concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bidding/Contract Negotiation/Contract Management of new communities
- Manage active communities/communication
- Starts/Change Requests
Skills

- 2-3 Years of proven purchasing/contract negotiation experience
- Prior experience in construction/homebuilding industry preferred
- Dynamic and detail oriented personality is essential to this role
- Clear communicator
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in San Ramon, California.
