Job Description
Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you will perform moderate to complex assembly functions using mechanical skills, a variety of hand tools, and assembly fixtures. You will produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they conform to product specifications while fully adhering to our established Quality System and understanding GMP. Ensuring complete documentation of all assembly and test processes is a crucial part of this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform moderate to complex assembly functions using mechanical skills and hand tools.
- Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet product specifications.
- Adhere to the established Quality System and fully understand GMP.
- Document all assembly and test processes accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the assembly process.
Essential Skills
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and prototype assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications including MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain orderly work cells.
- Experience in a medical device or aerospace manufacturing environment is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-4 years’ experience in the assembly of electromechanical or electro-pneumatical systems.
- Understanding of quality management systems and document control.
- Experience with test engineering, troubleshooting, and R&D.
Work Environment
Our work environment is supportive and collaborative, with a family-oriented culture. The role is based on the production/manufacturing floor, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with overtime as needed. Employees are cross-trained across three production lines with several stations, each equipped with a touchscreen. This is a long-term, direct hire opportunity with the chance to be involved in products that improve and save lives.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Santa Ana, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $54080.00/yr.
3% Annual Bonus (base salary) Personal and Company Performance • Medical, Dental, and Vision (effective 1st of the month following start date) • 401k Participation with up to 3% company match (eligible 30 days following start date) • 2 weeks accrued Vacation a year* • 10 days accrued Sick Leave a year* • 10 Federal Holidays Observed a year • 1 Floating Holiday a year
