The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials. Working under the supervision of a licensed authorized user or designee, this role supports patient care across all age groups by safely and effectively applying radionuclides for imaging and treatment. Key responsibilities include interviewing and preparing patients, performing quality control and calibration of radiopharmaceuticals, administering compounds, conducting imaging and therapeutic procedures, processing images, and performing related lab tests. This position requires a strong understanding of radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks in accordance with ALARA standards. Ongoing professional development and participation in research and training are essential to maintaining the highest quality of care.

Salary Range: $60.21-79.42/hr

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Current and valid CNMT license
  • Certification by NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Nuclear Medicine
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Proficiency in imaging procedures, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and quality control techniques
