Account Service Representative - Hiring ASAP

You will be responsible for expanding and maintaining the credit union's relationship with members by processing electronic payments files, opening new accounts and providing related phone support to members and employees. Duties: Receive a moderate volume of incoming member and employee support calls on a daily basis Process IRA, living trust, power of attorney, and deceased member paperwork and related transactions Open, maintain and perform quality assurance reviews on new accounts Actively listen to and respond to member needs while having a courteous and helpful attitude Educate and cross-sell members on the credit union's product and service offerings that can help them meet and exceed their financial needs Collaborate with co-workers in your department and in other departments and branches to provide effective and efficient service to our members Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the credit union's products and services Understand and comply with applicable Federal and State laws, banking regulations and OE's policies and procedures They are a credit union that also does auto loans, boat, RV, watercraft loans, motorcycle loans, mortgage loans, home loans. This person will be working with a lot of blue collar folks from construction trades and labor union

This role is extremely basic - they are opening accounts for new and existing members. Applications are mailed in and filled out online and this person is entering them in and following up via email/phone about any missing information. This first month will be data entry because they want them to learn the system first. They want a hard worker, someone that pays attention to detail and has a positive atitude.
