Admitting Representative - 1 in Mark Goodson Building / 1 Advanced Health Pavilion Building The following duties are required to be done 100% of the time ; they are critical to the day to day customer service process for the admitting department at Advanced Health Science Pavilion: will be cross trained in the following areas: between breast center, cancer center, and tower hematology Schedule in/out patients for appointments for five or more clinics Verify demographics and insurances for Medicare and PPOs including co-pay information Utilize knowledge of ICD-9, CPT Codes and medical terminology File medical record charts accurately once patient information is received Verify authorization and ABN codes/input into PCX system and IDX system candidates will be responsible for Verifying Insurances, HMO, PPO?s, co-Pays He / She will Use AS400 and PCX system for filing medical record chart.
