Description:

Staff level: • HT ASCP Certification not required. • Not open to new grads • Must have experience in cutting, embedding, and staining. • Must be able to work in a high volume fast paced environment. • Must be able to complete a minimum of 20 blocks per hour • Reference lab experience a plus • Ideally, this candidate needs to have education + experience (CAP accredited lab experience) Lead level: • HT ASCP Certification required. • Must be able to cut on a microtome • Must have experience in cutting, embedding, and staining. • Must be able to work in a high volume fast paced environment. • Understands what to prioritize and will be the point of contact for troubleshooting work Supervisor level: • HT ASCP Certification required. • 5 years of experience in a Histology lab • Must have experience in cutting, embedding, and staining. • Must be able to work in a high volume fast paced environment. • Manages the entire group/shift.
