A scaling retailer headquartered in the bay area is looking for a D365 Finance Lead to enhance, optimize, and implement streamlined financial capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. Long-term contract, potential to convert. Can be remote in CO, WA, CA, TX, FL, OH, MA, NY, NJ, NC.

Day to Day- Understand how to close the books and teach the stakeholders. Looking at the overall architecture of the ERP system. Coordinating with cross-functional teams. Working closely with the D365 developer. **Will not be coding day to day.

-Must have Enterprise Experience

-Must have the Finance module within D365 (such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management)

This is a key role that will enhance, optimize, and implement streamlined financial capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. As a Finance Lead, you will be hands-on in optimizing the financial modules in D365 Finance, Retail, and Commerce and establish ERP governance models to govern change in our D365 Finance production environment that meets IT Audit and Compliance requirements.

Job Description:

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting D365 Finance issues through root cause up to resolution

• Hands-on experience evaluating and implementing development and configuration solutions in D365 Finance modules (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Reporting in Management Reporter, and other financial focus areas).

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft LCS (Lifecycle Services) and the D365 Upgrade / Patching cycle

• Hands-on experience in design, configuration, and development of d365 Interfaces and integrations

• Assist in the management of external partners (technical implementation, training, and support) in relation to D365 integrations and third-party Platform As A Service (PAAS) or Software As A Service (SAAS) touchpoints

• Experience defining D365 technical requirements and matching to Finance functional (business) requirements

• Experience in developing technical design documentation (agile, waterfall, and hybrid preferred)

• Experience analyzing dependencies of the current business processes with other business operational areas

• Has performed the lead finance role for all technical D365 Finance initiatives and provided status updates to stakeholders and corporate leadership teams on any D365 Finance efforts

• Experience identifying risks, handling escalations, and proposing risk mitigation strategies to company leadership

Experience leading and conducting business requirement gathering sessions

• Business facing experience with presentation and ability to present complex concepts in “Business” language

• Strong communication skills (written, slide presentations, and oral)

• Experience working in a remote model and leading team through Teams meetings

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience with eCommerce solutions, integrations, and connecting to D365 Finance

• Working knowledge of integrations for D365 such as tax (Avalara) and payment processors (FIS WorldPay and Braintree)

• Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory

• Hands-on experience with defining and optimizing D365 and Azure Role Security

• Experience working with an online retail business

• Experience with HighJump (Körber) Warehouse Management Solution

• Experience implementing online payment types like Apple Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Google Pay

• Experience in enforcing best practices for D365 Finance

• IT Compliance/Audit experience

• Knowledge of SOX compliance

• Experience with Accounting and Finance business operations and processes

• D365 Strategic Planning and prioritization skills

• Ecommerce domain knowledge

• Azure DevOps experience

• Microsoft Visio experience

• Microsoft Teams experience

• Microsoft Dynamics certifications
