-Taking inbound calls from patients regarding: registering new patients, scheduling appointments, transferring calls to correct department, or coordinating communication between departments -Register and schedule new patients in electronic record system -Update patient account information

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE: -At least 1 year of call center or administrative experience (open to industry) - MUST be in the last 18 months -Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision -Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action -Must have technical abilities (i.e. toggle screens, use dual monitors, turn on computer, etc.) -Someone who is empathetic and patient with patients (someone who wants to help people who are in an uncertain time) -Type 40 wpm - HS diploma or GED required NICE TO HAVE: -Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
