founded in 2019 with offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Denver,
Colorado and provides a variety of
professional engineering consulting services to clients both on the east coast
and across the state of Colorado and surrounding regions.
Job Description:
Recent growth and increased project workload has created an
immediate opportunity for a Civil 3D Designer position working out of our
Denver, Colorado office.
While working under a registered Professional Engineer (PE)
in the State of Colorado, this position will provide great experience and
exposure to a wide range of project types.
This position will be primarily office-based with the potential for
occasional fieldwork on an as-needed basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Frequently prepare conceptual design drawings,
construction drawings, figures, details, and exhibits using Civil 3D
· Frequently import and process raw survey data using
Civil 3D
· Occasionally collect field data using Unmanned
Aerial Systems (UAS) technology
· Occasionally work with remote staff on
collaborative drafting efforts for projects based locally (Denver office) or in
Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh office)
· Occasionally attend meetings or interact with
clients to present visuals for project designs
· Maintain and improve Civil 3D skills as the
software evolves with new versions and updates
Minimum
Qualifications:
· Strong Civil 3D grading skills
· Experience
producing full construction plan sets
· Proficient Microsoft Office user (MS Word, MS
Excel, etc.)
· Ability to work minimum 40 hours per week
Desired Additional
Qualifications:
· Advanced Civil 3D skills (corridor grading, pipe
networks, etc.)
· Experience performing earthwork calculations and
preparing cut/fill exhibits
· Experience creating drainage maps, figures, and
exhibits specifically for technical engineering reports (preliminary/final
drainage reports, utility studies, etc.)
· Experience preparing construction plan sets for
transportation or roadway projects
· Experience maintaining/updating company drawing
templates as needed
Physical and Other
Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license required
· Must be able to pass a drug-screening test
· Ability and willingness to work flexible office
hours
