Payroll Accountant

Aston Carter is hiring for an exciting client of ours in the Golden, CO. area! They are searching for a Payroll Accountant looking for their next long-term opportunity!

Description:

• Manage the payroll processing and accounting systems (relating to payroll) to ensure accurate processing of payroll including salaries, garnishments, benefits, taxes
• Utilize the automated payroll system (Paycor) for processing and reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll wages and hourly laws
• Payroll point of contact for all employees and external auditors
• Documents financial transactions relating to payroll
• Bi-weekly payroll for 160 total employees
• Support other accounting functions as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Payroll Experience
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is required
• NetSuite is highly preferred, but not required
• Paycor is highly preferred, but not required
