Job Description
- Will be handling about 25-30 phone calls per day from customers regarding pricing/discounts, requests for quotes, and shipping time updates
- Will also be responsive for managing inbox of requests from customers
- Will be fielding phone calls from distributors asking for lead time updates
- Will utilize ERP system, Excel, and Teams daily for pricing/discounts, and locating shipping information
- Responsible for communicating with Ops team to collect additional information to provide to customers
- May be dealing with upset customers at times
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of recent experience in an office-based customer service role
- Experience dealing with upset customers
- Experience utilizing ERP systems
- Ability to time manage and having to prioritize tasks quickly and efficiently
- Someone who thrives in and wants to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking, problem solving, listening skills, multi-tasking skills, and ability to work well with others required
- Proficiency within Microsoft Office products such as Excel, and Teams
- Experience working in a customer service role within the manufacturing/industrial market is highly preferred
