Full Time Medical Assistant-Cardiology

Must Haves:

·       Medical Assistant Diploma

·      Cardiology experience would be great.

·      6 Months+ of MA experience.

·      EMR/EHR Experience is a plus

Specialty: Cardiology

Day to Day: Vitals, EKG's, monitors, medication verifications, prior authorizations, lab slips, referrals.

Hours and Schedule: 1 MA that will be supporting Dr Thompson 1 week out of the month, the other 3 weeks they would be supporting the APRN and other DRs with mostly administrative work.

·      M: 8-5, lunch 12-1

·      Tu: 8-5:30, lunch 12-1

·      W: 8-5, lunch 12-1

·      Th: 8-5:30, lunch 12-1

·      F: 8-3, lunch 12-12:30 or 12:30 to 1

This is a privately owned company with 5 locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who may want to get out of cooperate healthcare. They are affiliated with Yale and Trinity but are doctor owned. They also offer PTO and Holiday during the contract period!

There are 3-4 MD's
