Medical Receptionist


• Perform a variety of reception, scheduling and registration duties to provide effective customer service to


• Responsible for scheduling all patient testing appointments for orders received from referring provider.

• Ensures order contains reason for test, signature, records if required, prior authorization and meets medical necessity.

• Request additional information if required.

• Advises patients in cost of testing including co-pay, co-insurance deductible and advises in discounts for pre-pay attempting to collect pre-appointment.
