Connecticut's TOP Fertility clinic is hiring a Registered Nurse

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team at one of the top fertility and in vitro fertilization programs in the state and nation. The mission is to provide advanced infertility treatment through the combined application of high-quality patient care, clinical education, and research. The team strives for excellence in a team-oriented environment that values respect, initiative, and compassion.

Responsibilities include conducting patient history intake and preparation, collecting and managing lab data, providing follow-up steps, conducting advanced telephone triage functions, and participating in research activities. The role also involves acting as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and documentation, monitoring and ordering supplies, performing quality assurance functions, and assisting with the orientation and training of new personnel and clinical staff.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (start time as early as 7 AM) and stay until as late as 5 PM. Every other weekend and willingness to work at least one major holiday a year.

Hard Skills

• Current licensure. State of Connecticut
• Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience as licensed RN (OR/PACU preferred)
• Ability to multitask and focus on details
• Ability to commute easily between Farmington and other satellite/outreach offices as needed
• Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or IVF experience (preferred)
• BSN (preferred)

• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle upset patients

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Farmington, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Frequently physical demands from walking and standing. Frequently exposed to highly pressurized, emotional situations.
