Registered Nurse - New Haven, CT

Description:

Directs and supervises the nursing care and all related activities on the unit, assigned according to the policies and procedures.

The Registered Nurse monitors patients, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

Duties:

1) Clinical supervision of CNAs

2) Documents assessments of residents

3) Counsels CNAs and LPNs as well as employee evaluations to supervisor

Work Environment

Rehab/Skilled nursing facility with 114 beds. Has 13 staff on 11-7 shift, and has 23 staff on 7-3 shift. Will be trained accordingly by the staff development nurse.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday with alternating weekends

1x 7am-3pm

3x 11pm-7am
