Title: Product Manager

About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact on new product development and management for Gartner products serving all C-suite business executives. The Product Manager will play a crucial role contributing to the fastest growing business unit at Gartner. The role will be responsible for building innovative products to help maximize value for our clients and work on high-impact strategic initiatives spanning multiple practice areas.

As a critical member of the team, the Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution, including (but not limited to): gathering information to understand customer needs and value drivers, prioritizing key customer segments and roles, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, defining the product vision, leveraging scalable best practices, identifying and implementing market-driven enhancements, tracking progress and driving impact.

This high-impact, high visibility role sits within the Global Product Management team and will significantly contribute to achieving sustained double-digit revenue growth and strong client retention.

What you will do:
  • Identify, analyze and build business cases for new product opportunities to drive improvement and innovation across the broader business portfolio, piloting products as needed
  • Project manage the product development process end-to-end from concept to launch, ensuring continued progress and tracking business impact post-launch
  • Develop and present to top executives and senior management - high visibility role
  • Lead brainstorming and collaborative problem-solving sessions with cross-functional teams to identify and remove impediments to product adoption and growth, and continuously drive high-levels of customer satisfaction/retention
  • Leverage deep understanding of customer needs to conceptualize, build and launch products and/or tech-enabled solutions to solve those needs
  • Keep a pulse on emerging trends, technologies, innovations, and competitive offerings
  • Drive the commercial success of your products along with client satisfaction

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of progressive business experience, preferably including up to 3 years of product strategy / management experience
  • Proven track record of delivering products and managing programs that solve customer needs
  • Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills
  • High degree of competence in quantitative and qualitative analysis with attention to detail
  • Ability to lead/influence cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment with a high degree of professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs and do what it takes to get things done
  • Willingness to leverage a growth mindset and positive attitude to continuously build, measure, learn, and grow
  • High levels of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality, executive-ready deliverables
  • Flexibility and openness to working on different types of projects, depending on need
