Medical Assistant - Mystic, CT

Description:

Seeking an MA in a Neurogastroenterology and motility center in Mystic, CT.

As a member of the patient care team you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily offices duties including but limited to: rooming patients, vital intake, prior authorizations for medication, respond to patient messages, prescription refills, schedule & confirm appointments, assist at the front desk, etc.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:45am-4:15pm

Qualifications:

- Must have 1+ years of experience working in a medical office with both clinical and administrative duties

- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited university OR active CT CNA certification with hospital experience

- EPIC experience is highly preferred

Neurogastroenterology & Motility Center

4 total providers in this office - two physicians and two APRN's who take their own patients. MA will be supporting all 4 providers throughout the day

CNA certification only if they have experience in an office or hospital setting
