Charge Entry Specialist

We are looking to hire a Charge Entry Specialist with the largest leading private Orthopedics practice with an office in Wallingford, CT. This would be a promising opportunity for any individual in the field that is looking to grow their skillset.

Schedule: 8am – 5pm

Pay Rate: $20-$24/HR

Responsibilities:

o   Responsible for revenue capture and auditing services and procedures within the revenue cycle team to assure proper clean claim adjudication to Medicare and third-party payors

o   Duties

§  Capturing office visits, office procedures, MRI, & radiology through visit tracking and scheduling reports (In contact with locations to assure charges are appropriate for services performed)

§  Knowledgeable in appending modifiers to office visits and office procedures

§  Knowledgeable with all government rules and regulations/HIPPA & NCCI + Third party payor rules

§  Timely charge entry to achieve the goals of the rev cycle department for adjudication of all claims within 48 hours of the visit.

§  Communicate with staff, MA’s, coding managers, and rev cycle peers to assure charge entry excellence

§  Physical/Occupational Therapy & DME charge capture

Qualifications:

§  CPC

§  3 years related experience

§  Ideally experience in Greenway Primesuite Practice management and EMR

§  Must have great communication skills verbal & written

§  Microsoft office suite
