The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $89,000- $120,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Procures services through third-party vendors and technicians, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Maintains vendor relationships, negotiates agreements, and monitors service quality and contractual commitments.
- Oversees vendor selection, qualification, and database management to optimize service performance.
- Serves as the primary contact for purchases, service agreements, deliveries, and customer satisfaction concerns.
- Resolves escalated vendor and technician issues while ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Develops and assists in Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and business cases.
- Directs vendor payment processes, tracking trends, improving procedures, and driving team performance.
- Guides Vendor Payable Supervisors, fostering collaboration and efficiency among teams and external partners.
- Manages department personnel needs, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and compensation decisions.

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
- Proficient leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and coach a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situation
- Analytical and qualitative abilities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize based on department and company standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; advanced level (pivot tables, v-lookups & use of macros are standard practice)
- Knowledge of Waste Management services, policies, and system interfaces a plus
