Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Superintendent to lead complex ground-up construction projects across the Washington, DC area. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of high-value developments, maintaining our reputation for excellence in the commercial construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of ground-up construction, from site mobilization through project closeout.
- Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
- Enforce rigorous safety and quality standards across all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project goals and progress.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven track record managing ground-up construction, particularly in school or base-build projects.
- At least5 years of hands-on experience in large-scale commercial construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management(AEC disciplines).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-family residential and commercial base-build projects.
- Familiarity with DGS (Department of General Services)protocols and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work Environment
This role requires flexibility between field and office settings, depending on project demands. The Superintendent must be adaptable and proactive to ensure seamless execution and delivery of each project phase.
Compensation:$125000
