Job Title: Compliance Testing Specialist – Consumer Lending

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Compliance Testing Specialists to join a Consumer Compliance team. This team is responsible for independent quality control (QC) testing across a wide range of consumer financial products, including:

  • Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending
  • Commercial & Small Business Loans
  • Deposit Products

The ideal candidate will have a strong history in regulatory compliance, particularly with U.S. consumer protection laws such as TILA, ECOA, UDAAP, FCRA, etc... Experience in compliance testing is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with relevant experience as credit analysts or underwriters who have worked closely with regulatory requirements ensuring compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent compliance testing and controls assessments across consumer financial products.
  • Evaluate adherence to federal consumer protection laws and internal policies.
  • Analyze historical data (monthly or older) to identify compliance gaps or risks.
  • Document findings and collaborate with business units to address issues.
  • Support the rollout of a new enterprise-wide compliance testing program.
  • Work with Excel-based tools initially, with future transition to Power Apps and automated testing platforms.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance testing, audit, or oversight.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. consumer compliance regulations, including:
    • Truth in Lending Act (TILA)
    • Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)
    • Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP)
    • Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
  • Experience with credit card, unsecured lending, commercial/small business loans, or deposit products.
  • History in compliance, credit analysis, or underwriting with regulatory exposure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in a compliance testing or quality control function.
  • Familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks and audit processes.
  • Experience working in a regulated banking environment.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Mount Laurel, NJ or Wilmington, DE.
