While the primary focus of this position is security, this position may also provide occasional general administrative support as the security workload permits.

Able to act as Security Administrator (under supervision of FSO).

Assist and Support the Facility Security Officer in the execution and maintenance of security program including, but not limited to:

 Implementation of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements.

 Document control management & transmission.

 Staff security education programs.

 Staff security clearance applications assistance, management & maintenance.

 Visit authorization execution and management.

 Application & maintenance of staff ProjNet access, as well as security and building access badges.

 Self-Inspections & Security Vulnerability Assessments.

 The use of security related websites (NISS, DISS, NCAISS, ProjNet, etc.).

 Writing and use of Form DD254

Effective and accurate in written and oral English and able to support the office in writing, editing and proofreading.

Proficient in administrative and management software programs: Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suites, Deltek, and Newforma.

Able to prioritize requests, budget time, to perform tasks on schedule and meet deadlines.

Able to work independently to develop solutions and effectively utilize resources.

Positive disposition and ability to work effectively with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

U. S. Citizenship.

Ability to obtain Security Clearance from U. S. Government agencies

Training as a Government Security Specialist or experience within the environment of government security (such as front office/ work with clearances, etc..)

Substantial experience with security information management system (SIMS Software preferred).
