Location: 1099 Miller Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, United States

We have an immediate opening for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. If you have experience in the waste industry, that's a big plus-but not required!

Shift

• Night Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay

• $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)
• $5,000 Sign-On Stay-On Bonus

What You'll Do

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
• Use onboard computer systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Document all work in fleet maintenance software, including parts and labor.
• Review and complete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Conduct safety checks and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull objects over 50 lbs.
• Work in tight spaces and handle greasy tools while following safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Must provide your own tools
• Computer skills for fleet maintenance software
• Experience with DPF Regeneration systems on CUMMINS and MACK trucks is a plus
